Helping more than just your feet feel better
Reflexology is a hands-on healing touch technique.
Reflexologists touch only your feet, hands, and outer ears.
If you enjoy the experience of full body massage, with each part of your body being physically touched, you will not experience that with reflexology. Although many of my clients tell me they leave a session feeling as if each part of their body has been touched, it is a different experience.
Reflexology addresses internal structures that cannot always be addressed in a general massage session.
The reflexes in your feet and hands mirror your entire body, inside and out. The nerves that are touched in your feet bring relaxation and a feeling of harmony to your whole body.
Reflexology is especially helpful when you have an injury/area that cannot be worked directly, for example -
A frozen shoulder can be worked from the reflex area on the foot
Allergies or Digestive Issues that are inside complex areas of your body and not available to direct touch
Headaches and Anxiety
Lungs and Diaphragm - helps strengthen breathing & healing from injury without pain
Hormonal Issues.
Injury elsewhere in your body that you do not want touched directly, but that would benefit from increased circulation to promote healing.
Relaxation and relief from pain during pregnancy without having to lie on your back or belly.
Complex issues such as PTSD, Addiction, Trauma, and Long Covid are being researched and reflexology is being used successfully in treatment.
If you have mobility issues and being on a massage table is not an option for you, or if you are unable or unwilling to fully undress but would like to experience healing touch therapy, reflexology can provide that experience.
Reflexology brings space to your feet
as techniques are used to loosen and separate stiff joints and muscles,
& to your life
as techniques are used to support your mental and physical relaxation.
